Amanda Samrani Wings of Healing - South Sudan/Uganda
Amanda Samrani, a registered nurse and a believer since 2003, founded Wings of Healing/Uganda who works alongside South Sudanese refugees and Ugandans to restore lives, using Christ and Biblical principles as their guides.
They teach and live by example using Community Health Evangelism (CHE) for community development, health lessons, agricultural concepts and healthy living principles.
They also work with children in CHE lessons, discipleship, sports programs and school scholarships. “The children hold the future in their hands!”

Janine Roberts Hope Project
Janine Roberts works as the Director of Global and National Missions at Chapelwood UMC in Houston, TX. She loves living in a big city with so many things to see and do, but misses living full time in Zimbabwe. Janine returns once a year to check on the HOPE program and see the twin girls she fostered while living in Zimbabwe. Abby and Grace will be 7 in October 2017 and are in kindergarten. The HOPE program continues to provide medical care, nutrition for children with chronic illnesses, and scholarships for education.
Ron and Joanna Zeiner BFS Project
Ron has been involved in mission for over 20 years. Several short term stints in Mexico preceded 13 years in South Africa where he taught biblical studies at the Evangelical Seminary of Southern Africa. He also took his training into Namibia, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. Now back in the States, Ron pastors a mission-involved church and has for the past 5 years taken his biblical studies training short term to Uganda. Ron continues being available for short term mission ministry wherever opportunity arises.
While resident missionary in South Africa with husband Ron, Joanna helped
establish Christian Listeners training ministry in South Africa, Rwanda and
Burundi. After returning to the States she established Christian Listeners in the US
by teaching courses, training teachers, and updating/contextualizing the training
materials. She continues to serve as advisor and part-time trainer in the US and
creates/maintains curriculum for the ministry. She maintains ties with Christian
Listeners International, a consortium of national ministries including partnerships
in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. (see instituteforchristianlistening.org) Joanna
also is consultant and trainer with 2Restore ministry, helping bring to the US this
UK based ministry of healing and reconciliation in the church.
