CI-HOP
Welcome to the CornerStone International House of Prayer (CI-HOP). Our vision is to raise up and to be people of prayer and worship who are committed to the great commission; who intentionally live the first commandment to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and the second commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.
We believe that there are three aspects to fulfilling the great commission:
- Preaching: sending missionaries, cross-culturally, to preach the good news of Jesus
- Mercy: meeting physical needs through hospitals, childrens’ homes, feeding, clothing, housing, etc.
- Intercession: taking our stand as watchmen on the wall to intercede night and day for the nations and for our Lord to receive His inheritance. “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers.”
CI-HOP is called to fulfill our part of the great commission through prayer. This includes intercessory prayer that changes the spiritual atmosphere of the city where other aspects of the great commission are being carried out. We intentionally come alongside our missionaries in prayer and alongside the people whose lives they are touching. It’s an exciting partnership.
We believe that Jesus longs for His inheritance and what an awesome privilege it is to stand and intercede with Him to receive the nations! Does your heart burn for the nations, the people groups, the tribes of the world to know Jesus?
