Our Missionaries

Their
History

Roger and Myla Bodary have been living and working overseas for over 35 years. They started their married life together as missionaries in the Philippines. Their four children were born in the Philippines and grew up as global citizens now living independently in the USA. The Bodarys have lived, worked, and served the Lord in different capacities throughout the years in seven different countries: Philippines, USA, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Qatar, India, and now Honduras.

Upon retirement, the Bodary’s joined Loma de Luz, a multifaceted ministry consisting of a hospital, school, children’s home, and farm in Balfate, Honduras. Their main role is as Pastoral overseers for other missionaries and staff in the ministry. Roger shares the Word regularly and is working alongside the hospital chaplain. He is also teaching Design Technology at El Camino Bilingual School. Myla is serving as a part of the administration team at Loma de Luz Hospital and in various other roles in the ministry as needed. Their hearts’ desire is to “Declare His glory among the Nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples”. Psalm 96:3.
