Current Opportunities

Do you sense God’s call to serve cross-culturally?

Since we have worked with missionaries (young and old) since 1972, we know what it’s really like to move overseas, raise a family, work within another culture, and eventually move back to the U.S. and re-enter American society. We are well-versed in the challenges that our missionaries face, from leaving the world they’ve known to the process of reintegration, and we’re prepared to help you every step of the way. Visit the How We Help page to find out more about what it looks like to partner with CI, and see below to discover the opportunities we have available right now. We have several long-term placements (two years or more) for you to pray about and consider:

Ecuador

Young Life (Vida Joven) – CI partners with Young Life (YL) in Ecuador in bringing about life transformation among young people and teenagers.YL Ecuador is an incarnational ministry that seeks to form relationships with local youth, present Jesus to them, and walk with them as they grow in their faith. As such, we are looking for leaders that have a heart to reach youth and who are not afraid to jump into a different culture full of new experiences. Leaders must have an adventurous unreserved spirit, a strong relationship with the Lord, and be somewhat self motivated. Young Life activities involve contact work with youth, club, camp, and discipleship. As Young Life is primarily a relational ministry, a basic level of Spanish is necessary. We currently have 2 CI staff serving with YL in Ecuador.
