KRISTIN BEYER

OASIS OF HEALING | GUATEMALA

Kristin ministers in Guatemala, where she moved with her parents and siblings in 2013. She founded and directs CEIVA (Centro Educativo Integral Vida Abundante), a village learning center for children. Kristin is passionate about caring for vulnerable children and serves as a foster mom through the Guatemala foster care system. She is eager to see hearts, lives and families restored through Jesus Christ so that they can experience the abundant life through knowing Him. She hopes that CEIVA can be an oasis of healing and can aid in family preservation.

CEIVA started as an after-school program and currently runs as a one-room schoolhouse, offering biblically-based education for children in the village. There are hopes and plans to add an equine therapy element that will benefit both the students of CEIVA as well as local foster families.
