John and Ruth Ann live and serve in the inner city of Louisville, in the west end neighborhood of Portland. John is a Louisville native and works at UPS in addition to serving in the community. Ruth Ann is an intercessory prayer missionary and LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor). Their mission is to encourage, empower and equip the people of Portland to reach their potential and find freedom and abundant life in Christ Jesus. They are partnering with Church of the Promise as well as other ministries in the neighborhood to share the love of Jesus with others and to meet spiritual, emotional, and physical needs.  John and Ruth Ann’s vision is to see their neighbors transformed by the power of Jesus Christ as they are reconciled to God, self, others, and the rest of creation.
